Your African fashion news & careers update for 26 June 2025

Hi Operators,
Canât talk much today but some quick notes:
If you understand the Condé Nast leadership structure, you know that the Anna Wintour news basically amounts to her hiring a deputy editor.
H&Mâs long relationship with Circulose (formerly Renewcell, in which they invested $29M before the bankruptcy) may finally be bearing some fruit, even if exactly how much fruit is not being specified⊠this is happening while Syre is partnering with GAP and Target, and while Circ increases its processing power. Itâs taken fashion until 2025 to take textile recycling â just recycling â seriously.
We are far from done with the China conversation.
With thanks,
Modupe
